  1. Upon startup I receive the following error message:

"The instruction at 0x10002007 referenced memory at 0x000b6000 . The memory could not be read."

The machine will restart in 60 seconds if I click both "ok" or "cancel".

    my Hijackthis log is attached.

I ran some antivirus scans (several brands). Some viruses were removed, but the problem persists.

    PLEASE HELP

(also, there is file in C:\WINDOWS\Temp called 0wl.tmp I am unable to move it or delete it, does anyone know if it is a malicious file?)

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Your system is infected with a variety of malware.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

    Regards Howard
