Has anyone here had any success in switching mobo's over from VIA to NF2 without having to re-format and re-install the OS? Seems like a lot of extra crap to go through to change mobo's.
Seems like there would be some way to delete or clean out all the VIA drivers?? Mike

changing motherboards is nearly always call for a reformat seeing as just about everything (IDE, AGP, System, USB etc) drivers are replaced. You might be able to unistall the VIA drivers but other than that a reformat is best for speed and stabilty.
    Hope that helps

I agree with Steg 110%. A reformat is mandatory in my book, but never the less there is a nifty little tool out there that you could try... Driver Cleaner http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/

The newer versions also clean out chipset drivers.... Give it a try... I use it for my video card and it works like a charm...:)
