Yes, I definitely recommend you get rid of that resource hogging crap.
If you have any problems with the uninstall, see this thread HERE.
Here`s a list of programmes I recommend, some of which you already have.
AVG free or Avast antivirus programmes.
Zonealarm or Kerio free firewall programmes.
Spybot Search & Destroy.
Ad-Aware se personal.
Spyware Blaster.
AVG Antispyware.
Ccleaner.
Download whichever antivirus and firewall programmes you choose, then disconnect from the net.
Uninstall your Symantec/Norton programme, you will need to uninstall it in several pieces from add remove programmes in your control panel. Don`t forget to uninstall the live update component as well.
Once it`s completely uninstalled, reboot your system.
Install whichever firewall you chose, followed by whichever antivirus programme you chose and reboot your system the required number of times. Reconnect to the net and run the antivirus updates.

Well i would like to thank you again for the help. I really appreciate you taking me under your wing and helping me with this problem that took about a day to fix. I see that you just helped another person with the same problem but only took about an hour or 2 to fix.... LoL.... I just got rid of my Norton and semantics and installed everything that you told me to. Everything is running like a champ now. Thank you so much again!

Yeah, it only took a couple of posts to fix the problem for Savin877. That`s because you were the first person I`d seen to get this infection and I had to work out a way to get rid of it.
Thankfully, now I know how to get rid of it, it`s not that hard lol. Seeing the same two infections I`ve not seen before in one night, is a little unusual. It looks like this may be doing the rounds and I wouldn`t be surprised to see a lot more of it in the coming days and weeks.
