T-Mobile on Tuesday expanded its popular Binge On free streaming feature with the addition of 16 new services, pushing the total number of members over 100 since launching eight months ago.

Today’s newcomers include ABC, Apple Music, Big Ten Network, CEEK VR, DISH Anywhere, Disney Channel, Disney Jr., Disney XD, D-PAN.TV, DramaFever, FOX Now, FXNOW, NAT GEO TV, Shalom World, Sioeye and Tubi TV.

While many customers seem to love the feature, it doesn’t always live up to the hype. Last month, researchers from Northwestern University said customers don’t always get what T-Mobile promises with Binge On. Among the many issues the team found has to do with resolution.

T-Mobile advertises that Binge On provides video at 480p (DVD) quality but in their testing via YouTube, the resolution was only 360p which reportedly looked blurry on a modern smartphone. When they disabled Binge On, the quality shot up to 1080p Full HD.

Nevertheless, T-Mobile is enjoying plenty of success with the perk. In its press release, T-Mobile highlights the fact that customers have streamed more than 765 million hours of video data-free which translates to over 87,000 years of non-stop watching.

Pretty awesome how the story above this one is 'Researches warn of health risks with binge watching.' lol.
It would be difficult to binge that much on a T-Mobile phone unless you're tethered to the wall. In that case there's no difference that watching TV normally.
