T-Mobile on Tuesday announced the sixth expansion of Binge On, its controversial program that allows customers to watch unlimited streaming video from partners over their cellular connection in DVD (480p) quality without counting against monthly data buckets.

Starting today, content streamed from Azubu, Dailymotion Games, Eyegroove, PBS, PBS Kids and YouTube Gaming will no longer count against data allotments when using Binge On. The lineup isn’t as star-studded as earlier additions like HBO Now, Hulu, ESPN and Sling TV although those with young children and game streaming fans will no doubt appreciate PSB Kids (think Sesame Street) and YouTube Gaming, respectively.

With the addition, Binge On now includes nearly 90 partners after launching with just two dozen services seven months ago. According to T-Mobile, customers have streamed more than 500 million hours of video using Binge On with users watching up to twice as much content from participating providers.

It’s an enticing perk and quite frankly, I’m surprised the other major carriers haven’t rolled out similar offerings.

Speaking of perks, today (June 14) is the second week of T-Mobile Tuesdays, a new perk that rewards customers with a variety of freebies every Tuesday. This week’s offers include a medium, two-topping pizza from Domino’s, a small Frosty from Wendy’s, a movie rental from Vudu and a Lyft ride - all for free.
