T3958 emachine

Hi everybody,I'm new to fixing computers.I have a emachine T3958 and I have read they are junk.It has went out, so I bought a power supply up grade.Still nothing.I'm sure I will need to buy a motherboard.Can any one suggest one that will fit in my case and would be an upgrade to the one I had.Hope someone out there can help.Thanks.

If you intend to use your current eMachines hard drive, or the eMachines Boot disc of windows, you will need to buy the eMachines motherboard.
It is possible to use your exisiting hard drive once, by calling Microsoft, but not more than that.
If you don't need to use the Windows Boot disc or the hard drive, get the best drive you can afford which uses the same CPU and memory. Look at Intel boards for best ease of use in transfer. Otherwise, go to the motherboard mfgr sites.
