Tablet, Nook, Kindle?

  1. Since my hope of getting an ipad
    fell through for now, what is the least expensive related item I could get that would also allow me access to techspot? :)

    You can go for the Nook. Nook Simple Touch costs $110. It has Wi-Fi connectivity but no 3G. On the other hand if you go for the Kindle PaperWhite that costs $120, you will get tons of ads visible on the screensaver/lock screen and on the Home screen at the bottom.

    Does it have a web browser though? I would say Nexus 7.

    I think the Nexus 7 is the best choice. It has a great OS and great specs.

    +1 for the N7. It's the best 7incher now. If 10in is your cup of tea ... then we need to discuss more.

    Price is the main thing. If nothing else, I'm going to hope for a W7 laptop used.
