task manager will not open

my task manager all of a sudden stop working. I pressctrl+alt+dlt and nothing comes up except turned off by admin. I did not turn it off. I have ran 3 different virus scans with no virus or any other type of problem detected. can some1 plzz help me?

That could be caused by a virus etc.

Go and read this thread HERE, then post a HJT log as an attachment into this thread.

If it turns out to be virus related, I`ll move your thread to the appropriate forum.
