TaskBar has a Unused Section?

i turned on my computer and found a new curretly useless(windows dont go there ect.) section on my task bar

its in between the firefox box and quicklaunch buttons in this image

i dont know how it got there or how to remove it

ive tried rightclicking it but i got no solution

Place your mouse cursor on the little blue vertical line next to the Firefox box
on the taskbar,and drag it left.Or drag the other line,right.

Is that what your talking about ?

nah it wasnt going away and couldnt be made smaller
but it seems to be fixed..i got mad and turned off my computer now its gone
