Over the years it's been our duty and privilege to bring you the most up-to-date information on tech that when combined with our feature articles and reviews, software downloads, and your collective wisdom, it's what makes TechSpot TechSpot.

Bringing to your attention killer tech deals when the occasion so deserves has also been part of that content mix, but this time we are taking it to the next level. We have partnered with StackCommerce to bring their commerce platform to TechSpot readers and offer a permanent deals section curated and filled with great tech products at discounted prices.

Meet the new TechSpot Store.

Now, we don't contend to compete with Amazon or Newegg, instead we'll continue to use and link to them when they have the best prices. In other words, you won't find us selling graphics cards or smartphones.

TechSpot Store's focus will be in highly discounted tech gear and gadgets, software bundles, e-learning and exclusive pre-orders on upcoming innovative products. A special team will be dedicated to the procurement of these deals, in the quality of the products on offer, and ultimately to always have the lowest prices on the web for all of them. That's how it's going to work.

We've got a few introduction surprises...

  • We are offering an introductory discount, 10% off any deal on the site using coupon "TECHSPOT10" (expires on 3/3/15 at midnight).
  • You can sign up to the new TechSpot Deals newsletter (see at the bottom of the Store) to receive exclusive offers including freebies and giveaways.
  • Please note the Store does not share the same user credentials as TechSpot's main site. We are using a separate user database in order to keep your transactions and data secure. This is by design, and as you might notice, all connections within the Store are HTTPS-based.

To get the ball rolling, here are some cool offers currently on the Store:

Linux Learner bundle -- 92% off
Beginners & Experts: Navigate Linux w/ 6 Elite Courses & 50+ Hours Of Actionable Content

Power Vault 18000mAh portable battery pack -- 72% off
Charge 2 USB-Compatible Devices at Once. Don't Let Your Battery Slow Life Down.

Equil Digital + Ink Combo Smartpen -- 47% off
The Smartpen That Creates Digital Copies of Your Handwritten Notes & Sketches

I'm pretty sure the, "similar topics", function in the software completely missed the boat on this one.

Hm, why am I using, "missed the boat" as a metaphor n this thread...?

Oh wait, never mind, I remember now. I just came over from the Titanic thread.

Felt like it was just yesterday, when I was a youngin' browsing Techspot. Now you guy's have a store and all that, well damn! I may splurge on that battery back.
Very good deal. I agree.

I love the py what you want bundles on other sites but now TS will receive my business!

Congratulations guys. Looking for a few upgrades in the few months. I appreciate that I can start the process on my favorite tech site. You guys are awesome-Tito

Some very good discounts going around, great stuff TS. It's a pity I splurged on a battery pack not even two days ago. Damn. Oh well I still got a very good deal and I'm not in America anyway.
As an NON Apple fan I still wouldn't mind getting my hands on that laptop though, I could easily sell it to some drooling iFan for a whack.

Got an email about the TechSpot store. Tried to log in and wouldn't take my email address/password. Kept getting "invalid email address/password. That's strange because I used the same password/username/email that I use to log onto this site. What's the problem???

@jimnor46 The TechSpot Store uses a separate user database that is more secure and as you may have noticed, all connections within the store are HTTPS based. This is by design, of course to keep your data secure.

We will clarify this in the announcement post, thanks for your feedback.

Yeah it uses a StackSocial login. Mine from another site worked.

Congratulations guys on a great site and staff.
Now, can I have my avatar name changed from Techspot Enthusiast to Techspot Ambassador?
I promise to never say anything negative about Steve's morning hair again.

Where is the fun in that?

Only if you've brown nosed for the required number of posts. And remember, it's quantity, not quality, which makes you an "Ambassador"

1. Do you guys ship to Europe? If yes, for how much?
2. Do you do discounts to the most "liked" (and non-cranky) members? :) :) :)
I.e. do you convert likes into discount points? ;)
