  1. Telltale Games’ range of episodic, dialogue-heavy adventure titles covers a variety of franchises. From its early offerings of Back to the Future and Jurassic Park, the company went on to create, among others, the excellent The Walking Dead series, The Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones, Tales from the Borderlands, and Batman – The Telltale Series. Now, it seems the next comic/movie to get the Telltale treatment will be Guardians of the Galaxy.

Rumors that a new Telltale title will be unveiled during December's Game Awards have been circulating for a few weeks, according to Eurogamer . The company has used previous years’ events to show off the first trailers for other games, and this year may follow that tradition.

More news of a Guardians game has now arrived via an unlikely source: the ongoing voice actors strike. The SAG-AFTRA union released lists of video games that have and have not been affected by the action. One of the non-struck titles was listed as “Guardians of the Galaxy - The Video Game aka. Blue Harvest.”

That alias, as most Star Wars fans will be able to tell you, is a reference to the working title of Return of the Jedi. It’s also the name of the first Family Guy Star Wars parody episode.

Both the Guardians game and The Walking Dead season 3 are listed under O’Farrell Enterprises, LLC, a company registered to Darragh O’Farrell, the voice over producer for a number of Telltale games.

SAG-AFTRA’s pdf has since been updated to read “Untitled Marvel Game aka Blue Harvest,” but it seems pretty clear what it’s referring to. With the second Guardians of the Galaxy movie set for release in April next year, it may not be too long before we get to make some difficult choices for Star-Lord, Drax, and the rest of the team.
