I have a server running Windows 2000 Small Business Server. It has been running 100% for almost a year now and now I'm having hassles with remote access, I connect to the server and after a while my connection gets dropped and I have to try and reconnect, sometime I have to try a few time before I can reconnect.
I have run ADSL speed tests and am getting a descent response time but was still being booted, I have now tried logging in and running a continuos ping to a website and this seems to keep the connection open. - Ok just checked this and now after about an hour it has dropped my connection again
Has anybody experienced this problem before and does anybody know what to do to fix this annoying problem.
