I just turned 71 Aug. 1, 2017 exactly 50 years after turning 21 a week before leaving Nam at end of 2 year tour.
But my real Happy Birthday present came from the VA last week awarding my 100% compensation disability.
Ka Ching. And it only took 4 months from the date I applied. I say bless the VA and all my brothers-in-arms
who are or have served. I wear my hat and get lots of thank you for your service to which I reply,
PROUD TO HAVE SERVED. I wear my hat to honor my brothers.

I am very happy that the prevailing attitude today is very positive toward Veterans and our military. Liberals have desperately tried to dampen and even destroy it; too often their speech is still borderline criminal. I entered the Army in 1956 and served in the beginning of SF. /
The biggest POS walking this Earth requires at least the recognition of John Kerry as the winner. followed by, Jane Fonda Walter Cronkite and a few other early Socialist Media Press stars, afflicted with oral diarrhea and suffering from mega-cephalic cerebral necrosis. It was john Kerry a Vice Pres. of the Communist Vietnam Veteran Against the Vietnam War.. In 1971 they held a FBI monitored ) meeting in which the ( treasonous) assassination of six US pro war Senators was discussed. In October of that year it was voted NO GO. Kerry also tried to ( treasonous) Broker a covert surrender with the head of Vietnam forces in two Paris meetings. The only reason he isn't in prison for life is SOB Uncle Ted got a law passed giving a quasi pardon type forgiveness to anything Vets had done politically It was Kerry that gete the Speech in Congress [ They cut of ears, raped women, killed men women and children & burt villages. Out traiterous media / Press brainwashed the public into believing Kerry. As a result returning Veterans were spit on and couldn't get employmnent anywhere. .
