Thanky you for your reply

Have loaded Memtest and completed the first pass in 25 minutes
with no errors
How many pass's should I do

rgds

Memtest now run for 2.6 hours and on its 7th pass
still no errors come up - How fool proof is Memtest ?

or do I just buy another stick of ram ?

On other bit of information is after each crash and the blue screen of death
it does a "dump of physical memory" and comes up with the following fault
"*** STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005,0xF68FD81D,0xF4291A20,0x00000000)

does this indicate a memory problem ?

Memotest run for 3.5 hours with 7 pass' and no errors

3 mins of Windows then BSOD , msg on screen was

0x0000008E (OXC0000005, 0C804E7204, 0XF471A77C, 0X00000000

Attached also the last 2 minidumps
