The $35, 64-bit Raspberry Pi 3 is here: now 50 percent faster and with built-in Wi-Fi

Anything associated with Braben is a rip off, it's not just what he does, it's who he is. He's a pathological liar.
Who the hell asked you?? If you are not going to add anything into a conversation you shouldn't have a compulsion to do so. Leave people be happy with what they want/like, who are you to come in and start telling people they shouldn't get excited?? people like you piss me off, shoo shoo now go get under a bridge.

An entire computer for $35, and people are crying?

Most of the parts and software are low-cost or no-cost, so anyone with the knowledge to put these ingredients together in a similarly usable can rival the Raspberry Pi's hefty pricetag whenever they feel like it...
As you can see, they manage... not even for the idea behind it... nor the independent group that actually made it out there, nor the benefits for those who can't afford a full fledged computer, nor the poor schools they are supporting, nothing.

The same guy that based you, the forum for expressing different points of veiw. The key word being 'different'. Your anger gives us all a chuckle though. Thanks. Shoo shoo... That's precious.

You see... there is the difference and you nail it with the same phrase you are saying "expressing different points of view", you are not expressing a point of view, you are just vomiting into the keyboard things like "nothing to get excited about" "it's a rip off"... when you ADD something to a thread it is always welcomed, different points of views, things that might not have been considered, awesome, when you go ahead and vomit into your keyboard with your "personal and unique" view that trumps the rest and this is because "nothing to get excited about" without any background or anyone asking for it, it's not something that belongs in a forum, that is something you can do on your facebook or google+ or whatever crazy kids are into this days.

I could say the same about your point of view, if I was immature enough. :)

Honestly any alternative is better, and making it yourself is the best.
Hmm I do not own a 3d printer.

Iv looked at 3 so far, one didn't list its cpu specs, one had a single core 1hz and this one with the 3d printer thing. If you know of a better one I'm all ears, if not I think I'll go with the rasp.
I found a 4th one that is 10$ more, faster but has no wifi...

Oh what??? No backed reply from the troll? *shockerz*

@treetops if you feel wifi beats faster go with the Pi, otherway go for the faster, although have this in mind, there are legions of people that have documented step by step instructions for the Pi and the community is huge, this are not things to take lightly ;)

Edit: Did the dude really link to a google search? That lazy??? to a "Build one yourself" google search... oh my... *shockerz*

But to retain the 100Mbit Ethernet instead of the standard 1Gbit is really pathetic and annoying. For me it is the main reason not to touch it.

What 3 year old smartphone is out for $35 that can actually run W10, you can plug into ethernet and connect multiple usb devices at the same time?

So it's not for you, and that is fine, althrough this doesn't mean it's either pathetic or annoying. Besides, the whole point of the RPi was to get kids and emergent countries into developing, not for an old dude to cry about it not serving his purpose.

Best .....Answer ....Ever..!!!!
