The network disconnect's

hi,

i am using windows 2000 server with active directory .Five node's

connected to it.They all share the same directory from the server.

But past two day's the connection between the server vanished

suddenly.

The error show's "The connection cannot be restored"

I thought the reason may be

1, collusion in the switch --->(I changed the switch (new one))

2, Problem in the cable --->(changed the cable)

Then also the same problem exists.

Please guide me guy's

wow all that management software to setup ooch!!
did you try the network card or cards
are you using a aggregation or team system
just one card ooch again
may have lost the address or gotten corrupted,my intel server nic just went bad one day.
how about ping testing
are you using managed switch that should help with testing

Hi,

I had changed the NIC also.

I am using unmanagable switch only.

I am able to ping the near by system. (so no problem in switch & NIC )

The shared folder get's disconnected from all the node's
