Ok, sorry I had to use that as the subject, but I figured it would get the most attention and this definately deserves attention.
Basically what it is is a story written by someone that is good with flash and used the original NES sprites in a flash movie to create a drama based on mario (mario 1 nes style). A buddy of mine mirrored the links to his site so please if you like it don't go whoring it out to places like /. (although I'm sure they already have seen it months ago - but I mean don't post it somewhere where its going to get an incredible amount of hits).

Anyway enjoy and please post comments: http://web.umr.edu/~pigg/mario/

    It's pretty good, I've seen all 4 episodes ( are there more ? ).

I like animations that use Old School game footage. *sniff*

Heh, that was probably directed better than half the major Hollywood movies I have ever seen.

    Hilarious.

What's the chances of getting some more of these done for other games? These were prett damn funny...I can only imagine what they could do with som eothers...

Go to http://www.newgrounds.com/ -> Flash Portal & you can do a search on Classic Gaming. There are loads of nice animations with old games ( especially 8-bit NES ).

Some animations are for a mature audience, mind you.;)

Good deal...thanks Didou...I'll try and screen the mature content from my impressionable self...;)

5, is the last one. I read it on a site - the dude says he's tired of working with sprites, but he feels he needs to finish what he started.
