The Sims Superstar - installation problems

So I insert disc one as instructed, then disc two. A box then pops up saying error:incorrect function.

I have seen a previous thread about finding the three files@
Stdole32.tlb
Stdole2.tlb
Stdole.tlb

I only have stdole32 and stdole 2.

The other thread said to dowload my attached zip file and save it to my desktop. II dont understand these instructions and have no idea what the attached zip file is. Thanks!

First, I don't know anything about the other threads you are referring to. After disc one has finished installing, you get a message telling you to take out disc one and put in disc two (or words to that effect), correct? When you do, you get that error message?

Try carefully wiping disc two clean. Sometimes a fingerprint, dirt or something can interfere with the installation.
