The State of the Steam Machine: It's not yet clear who is it for

And if you want more? Other apps, browsing, chat, facebook, etc?

What? Are you high, dear sir? It's not mobile phone either ... it's a gaming console. Like X-Box ... or PS4... just on PC hardware ... playing games off your steam library.

The question is not "And if you want more?" since this device you buy when you have already PC/mac/mobile phone/tablet and wanted more ... to game on big screen in your living room... and bought this as final piece. Much like you buy surround speakers and amplifiers to get the cherry on top after you already have your bigass TV and bluray player. This isn't the product you start from.

"in the process of trying to simplify some things (especially controls), Valve actually made them more complicated. Also, it’s limited by technically being a Linux machine. It’s a PC in console’s clothing, but it’s definitely still a PC at heart. On the other hand, if you’ve been using Steam since the service—and possibly also you—were in diapers, you’re better off just grabbing a Steam Link and streaming to your living room from your PC"

Buy the nice console and play :
Starcraft 2,League of Legends,Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, The Witcher, Diablo, Heroes of the Storm, Need for Speed, FIFA, PES,

There are 213 games on my Steam library. 1/10 of them work on Steam OS, and most of them are garbage from game-packs.
