The Windows 10 Anniversary Update is here

AFAIK you can not uninstall One Note ,Edge or Cortanna (now) ,or the Windows Store link WUP apps you can just keep them semi inactive and un pin some of them from the start menu that's about it while most other windows store WUP apps can be uninstalled including the mail client but you have to use windows power shell to uninstall the mail client *all the way .

That being said the Groove Music player (what WMP should have been from the get ) and the Mail client ,Photos ,Calendar, Calc , and MS Money, MS Sports ,Photos and MS News live tile apps from the Windows store free (which you can turn off the live tile feature in ) and Connect are real are decent as WUP apps go.

I use them and if they bog down your PC you needed a new one or a better one and some bandwidth for the live tiles in 2012 anyway and you can otherwise populate the rest of the start menu window with shortcuts like I did ☺

Microsoft Windows 10 fast ring Insider OS build 1607-14901.rs1 pre release
I have uninstalled what I don't want except Edge, there is no option for uninstalling but I have the option to ignore it which I'm very good at.

That's all you can do and the few UWP apps I use don't use any significant running processes when they are idle and if you have bandwidth caps or are on a mobile using a data capped telco connection you can turn off live tile updates .

Right, I ignore EDGE also its unstable with a few tabs open and the page reliability and functionality could be better (still) but if you watch Neflix on a PC it's the only browser that plays 1080p Netflix outside of x64 IE11 on win 8.1 and win 10 and edge will play web video that the other browsers just buffer , wont load at all or wont play well , aside from that you can download a better browser with it anyway☺
