Nice find. That could be very useful. What is the spreadsheet based on though? Doom3? Far cry? 3dmark05? A combination? I'm surprised my 6600gt did so well, it was close to the x800xl, which is much more money.

Read through that entire article, and it explains things pretty well.

Another important point about all that info, is that it is comparing NEWER cards (using pixel shader 3.0) vs older cards (pixel shader 2.0). So the older cards performance in FPS will look very good since it has fewer computations to make (compared to a card using more advance pixel shaders).
