    just installed new mobo in thinkpad x20 , no power battery light flashes green to show me that its charging but when i push power button nothing! took out battery wont power up brand new ac adapter can anyone give me a clue!

    A new motherboard? X20 is pretty old.. Are you sure you didn't get a used motherboard that was dead already?

    remove the modem card. sometimes(and frequently) it dies.

    got computer to power up by pressing thinkpad button and f12 now cant get it to post just getting a power light fans on but it wont boot put new mem in and still nothing
