Too much security??

  1. Hello too everyone..i'm new here and i am desperate for an answer to why i can't buy anything on line on my new e-machine i have windows xp and i shop and when i go to checkout i get a cannot reach this page......this also happens when i click on some websites thats in my e-mail........anyone help me please!!

    You may have more than 1 Pop-up blocker running. Google Toolbar has one, your Internet security probably has one, IE7 has one...and so on. Try turning them off 1 by 1.

    Have you tried the same pages using Firefox?

    also insure your router allows OUTBOUND access to ANY IP on PORT 443

    that would be VERY site dependent and seldomly a requirement for a shopping cart.

    Yeah port 443 needs to be open on your firewall as this is the https port (Secure connection).
