Top and Left side of Screen Display is Cut-Off?

Hi, I have an annoying problem. It's that the top and left side of my display screen is cut off. So I can't see the first letter of each program on the left side of the screen, and the top while I'm surfing the net some of of it is cut off. Please tell me how I can fix this. Thanks.

Start with the easy stuff first: have you checked your monitors' built-in screen settings? Make sure the position adjustment is correct before you try anything else (you may need to turn "auto-positioning" off if you have it).
