I have a Toshiba Portege laptop and after loading Windows 98 the keyboard mapping is mixed up. All standard letters and numbers are OK but keys like @ and other special characters are mixed up. I have looked to see if there are special drivers but no luck. I asume that I may have selected the wrong keyboard layout when loading Windows, but if so which one should I load.

The Portege has a function lock, which will cause many of the keys to print secondary or even third characters.

Also, if you have an international Portege (You may notice accents, like Ö or á), then you will need to select the proper keyboard language. Otherwise the problem you described would happen.
