  1. ive had a lapse in memory...i got a brand new thermaltake crystal orb VGA cooler and a brand new heatsink for my cpu...my question is this:

when you are cleaning off the old thermalpaste...what kind of stuff are you supposed to use??

i have iso-propyl alcohol(70%) and etyl alcohol(70%)...i remeber you are supposed to use one of the two but i just cant remember :grinthumb go me

I think rubbing alchohol(iso-propyl) works best. Be careful when applying it though.

odin is correct, iso propyl is the correct kind. I find better to use 99% pure but 70 should do the trick
