Trojan.Agent/Gen-krpytik

  1. I have been infected with the virus "Trojan.Agent/Gen-krpytik" and although my SuperAntiSpyware has delt with it, there seems to be some other damage.

All my shortcuts and their source exe's will not open unless I right click and click "start".

When I do double click on them to open - no matter the shortcut or original file - I get a box that wants me to search for the appropriate program to open it.

Anybody have anyclue as to how to fix this??

When you posted in a thread belonging to someone else, you were given the direction to start your own thread- which you have done here- and follow the steps for preliminary removal- which you have not done. We can't help you without information.

Please follow the steps HERE and leave the 3 logs for review.

You may still have malware on the system and/or malware could have damaged some files or settings.
