  1. i have a similar issue. has anyone found a way to get rid of "Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent variant" ive been informed by World of Warcraft startup that i have it but i have yet been able to find it myself to delete it. any guesses?

    I have moved your post to it`s own thread. You obviously didn`t see the bold red message. ;)

    Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

    If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

    Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

    Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

    Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

    i advise getting "Spyware Doctor" you have to pay for it but its worth every penny. the best virus/spyware/trojan remover ive ever used.
