Well, after a few years clean, a mistaken click was bound to happen. Thankfully, it occurred on my non-work machine (not networked to any other). Noticed that the internet was running slower than expected, but didn't have any other programs outside of youtube using bandwidth... Closed the broswer and still saw activity. Used TCPEye to look into why and found this: Looks like something managed to get in open some doors. Leading to a Malwarebytes scan (Pro User) turning up a Trojan.Inject.ED and a later MSE scan found a Rovnix.gen!C rootkit. Fantastic. For the time being, I've physically unplugged the machine from any network knowing that any time I put the cord back in, the connections start cropping up almost immediately. Help in eradicating the offending malware/viruses would be much appreciated. As requested, MBAM and Attach.txt logs posted in the following replies. I did NOT get a DDS.txt file for unknown reasons. Temporarily disabling MSE did not help rectify the situation.
