    hello,

i got the trojan nebular thing, which kept redirecting and opening my firefox to antivirus sites. my symantec and lavasoft couldn't delete or quarentine it. i google'd it and symantec said to open regedit and delete the following:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSMGR
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\winowl32

i did so and it seemed the virus was gone (no more popups) but now, after my computer is one for about an hour, programs simply refuse to open. it says error, and that something wasn't found. it eventually spreads to all my programs, including the "run" function. if i restart my computer everything works for a while, then starts malfunctioning again.

if anyone has any help, please share it and thank you very much for doing so.
my hijackthis logfile is too long to fit in this post, but if it will help i can post it seperatly.
again, thank you for your time and efforts,

    michael
