When you hardwire it, at what exact moment the error happen?
See, if same thing happens in Safe Mode with Networking?

It happens in safe mode for wired and wireless. It happens 10-30 seconds after the system tray shows a connection.

Let's try Combofix again....

1. Please open Notepad
  • Click Start , then Run
  • Type notepad .exe in the Run Box.

2. Now copy/paste the entire content of the codebox below into the Notepad window:

Code:
File::.
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\xxdqw.sys

Driver::
xxdqw

3. Save the above as CFScript.txt

4. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs again, so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

5. Then drag the CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe as depicted in the animation below. This will start ComboFix again.

7. Run Malwarebytes "Quick scan" once in a while to assure safety of your computer.

8. Run Temporary File Cleaner (TFC) weekly.

9. Download and install Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI): https://www.techspot.com/downloads/4898-secunia-personal-software-inspector-psi.html. The Secunia PSI is a FREE security tool designed to detect vulnerable and out-dated programs and plug-ins which expose your PC to attacks. Run it weekly.

10. (optional) If you want to keep all your programs up to date, download and install FileHippo Update Checker.
The Update Checker will scan your computer for installed software, check the versions and then send this information to FileHippo.com to see if there are any newer releases.

11. Run defrag at your convenience.

12. Read How did I get infected?, With steps so it does not happen again!: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic2520.html

13. Please, let me know, how your computer is doing.

Great Success!
Thanks so much for your help. I'm truly grateful. Most impressive what you did with a few logs and programs over distance. I think this is the worst bug I've come across; I'm sure you've seen some real works of art. It is reassuring to know that for every person out there who puts together some clever code to cause a few headaches or worse, there is an equally formidable force to put things right.

Sincerely,
Matt Dito

Thank you :)

It was one of the tougher cases, but, fortunately, we beat suckers :)

Good luck and stay safe :)
