and lets get real.... I'm looking at an avitar of a skull..... I'm dealing with a virus someone has written to destroy computers.... I'm sure you can see the skepticism....

I must assure you that evilfantasy is very much a trusted member especially in the malware forums. He has helped alot of members clean their systems here, so don't let that avatar fool you. =) We used to have an excellent member of our forums with a similar avatar; he was an expert on such matters and helped out immensely too.

I'm sure you've been dilligent in following our helpers' advice. I hope your system remains free of malware; should you need any further help feel free to post back.

You either trust us or you don't. I don't see why my avatar would have anything to do with it. Does it make me less capable? Google my screen name. I help on more than one forum. The skulls I use help to identify me. That particular one is diamond encrusted. It's swell don't ya think?

I have similar problems in my line. Few people consider a woman capable of handling a construction site. I'm constantly having to prove myself.

One time in particular, I was observing that a wallpaper installer had put the paper on the walls in the wrong direction. He made some comment about not being able to align the stripes horizontally because the floor was unlevel. Plans clearly direct that any anomolies they should call me for clarification. I started looking at the wall, the floor and in my mind I was about 3 miles down the road analyzing how I could have trimmed out something, or balanced something else and made it work had someone called me. So I was looking at the condition and this 'good ole boy' got in my face, literally about 6" away and says "You gettin any of this here?" I felt like a slingshot brought me back to reality... I got about 2" from his face and said... Ya.......... I got it. Turned around and had the general remove him from the construction site. He screws it up and gets in my face..... 'not'. Anyway, long story short. I understand the misconceptions. and am truly honored to have had your input. You were much kinder than others. I just felt like I was pushed toward something and expected to follow it blindly, when I tried to investigate and learn, I felt like I was picked on a bit. My bad, and again, thanks for the help.

I apologise if you think I picked on you but that was not my intention. I had no idea that you are a woman, Your TS name gives no clue as to gender.

It can get very frustrating at times when people seem skeptical of the instructions we ask them to follow. What we use is a tried and tested method which works.

From you line of work you know how important it is to do things properly, I feel the same way about malware removal.

I meant absolutely no offence and apologise unreservedly if I caused some.
I believe in doing a complete job and doing my best to make 100% sure that the malware problems people have are cured completely.

My computer is infected with a Trojan.Zlob.X-a, I am using Firefox instead of IE, Scanned with panda andtirootkit and did not found anything, scanned with AVG 7.5 and did not found anything, need instructions on how to post HJT logs. Please help. Also scanned with AVG antirootkit and did not found anything. Need help.
