Trouble "Repairing" Windows Media Center Edition 2005

Hello,

Last night I was in the middle of repairing Media Center Edition, and it was about 50% when it said "Please Insert the disc with *filename* here". S I thought it was on disc 2, but it was still the same problem. So then I put the first one back in and go "browse" and I point it directly to the file it wants. It still comes up with the exact same thing so I just left it. Is it a problem with my disc or what? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to Techspot. Do you remember exactly what file it is? Maybe it isn't important... I know that may not sound like good advice, but it really may not be that important. Also, try thoroughly cleaning off the disk, as this is usually a cause of install errors like this for me. And finally, have you completed the repair yet?

Yeah, I just continued without installing that file. All that happened was it had to install "Document Viewer" when I logged in, and everything seems fine now.
