TSA to ban uncharged mobile devices from flights bound for the US

As if terrorists aren't clever enough to make a bomb that also has a computer in it so it will appear to be a computer? Soon enough electronics won't be allowed through security.

We, the democratic Western countries, have told our governments that we want to be protected against those who would threaten our lives regardless of cost to our convenience, privacy, freedom of movement and rights. That's what the TSA is doing. We all complain until a jet load of people are killed then we demand more protection, then we complain when it comes.
I think we need to accept more the risk of being killed or injured at the hands of fruit-cases so that we can enjoy greater individuality and freedom for the majority.
And here's Benjamin Francklin's quote which is very pertinent "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." It was only a matter of time before someone said it, so I thought I'd throw it in here.
