not sure if this is possible but is there a way of stopping all the confirmation boxes everytime i run a application or create a shortcut, i think it slows me down so much...

maybe they think if they ask me 10 times i may change my mind

are you talking about the user account control confirmation boxes? The ones that make your screen fade out?

Still, I predict many people will turn it off completely, which is ridiculously easy to do (Click the Start button, type MSCONFIG in the search box, click OK to clear the UAC dialog [ah, geeky irony!], click the Tools tab, then check the "Disable UAC" box).
