not sure if this is possible but is there a way of stopping all the confirmation boxes everytime i run a application or create a shortcut, i think it slows me down so much...

maybe they think if they ask me 10 times i may change my mind :)
 
are you talking about the user account control confirmation boxes? The ones that make your screen fade out?
