TweakXP or IE7 Beta 3 has done something weird to my computer...

  1. I've been using the latest version of TweakXP trying various tweaks to improve speed and performance. I've also recently installed IE7 Beta 3.

When ever I open up an explorer window, and click my computer, instead of quickly listing my available drives, the search light now appears - taking up to 20 seconds to one minute to display my drives.

anyone got an idea on where I can look to resolve this? Apart from going back to a System Restore (which is not an option), what's causing this explorer slowdown?

Clicking on My Documents, or other folders in the explorer window are not impacted by this weirdness.

Try disconnecting your drives one by one.Not your main drive, obviously.

You say System Restore is not an option.Do you mean it`s unthinkable,
or that it`s not running ?
