Two questions..

  1. First of all, is a 2.2 Athlon 3500 better than an Intel Celeron 2.8?
And second, the AMD athlon im looking at is 64-bit, does that mean I have to get 64-bit WinXP?

    1. Yes, the Athlon 3500+ at 2.2ghz is better than the celeron...
    2. No, you could get 64bit Win XP, but at the moment it is hard to find drivers for win xp 64bit. the normal 32bit windows xp works perfectly on 64bit systems... it is personal choice. they will both work on a 64bit system..

Are you sure? So if I upgrade my system to an Athlon 64 with 64-bit and use my harddrive with 32-bit winXP it will work perfectly?
