Ugrade xpHome to xpPro problems

    I am trying to upgrade my compaq presario from xphome to xpPro. Everything seems to go fine until the system reboots. I consistently get the blue screen of death for a critical stop:dead:

    I have tried to do an upgrade and a full install but both fail. I have reloaded my pc with the original software with the restore discs and then tried and still can't do it.

    Any ideas what I might want to try next? I really want to run IIS and some other network options for my home network.
