dabs.com honours Xbox pricing error

On March 8th 2002, an error in the bundling software we use on our site resulted in our "Xbox Ultimate Bundle" (comprising Xbox console, memory unit and 3 games) being incorrectly advertised at www.dabs.com for £249 ex VAT. The price should have been £379 ex VAT.

The error was spotted swiftly, and the Xbox offer was removed from the site to prevent further confusion whilst the issue was investigated. During the short time the offer was live at the incorrect price, 13 customers placed orders.

As a gesture of goodwill, and to thank these customers for their patience, we have decided to honour the advertised price for the 13 orders placed and will ship the Xbox bundles as soon as stock is available.

On hearing the news that we'd decided to honour the price, one of the aforementioned 13 customers posted "a very formal thank you very much" on his website. Read it for yourself at the link below.

This was an error on our part and we have of course apologised for any inconvenience caused - we hope that gaming on their new bargain-priced Xboxes when they receive them will make up for it!
