Unable to boot, other problem though, "Access is Denied" in recovery console??
Okay, so I have the same corrupted registry problem that many have had with the unable to start windows ...system32\config\system, etc. My problem is that in all of the manual repair instructions to repair in the recovery console, it states that upon entering the recovery console you will be prompted to choose the install of windows you are repairing and enter the password.
When I enter the console it simply goes to c:\ and there is no prompt for a password or to choose an installation, therefore, for nearly every command i enter, i get the response, "Access is Denied."
