Unable to connect to WinMX Music

Just got a new notebook & have been adding all my programs.
Installed WinMX Music & it just stays on starting connection & will not connect.
Uninstalled & re-downloaded program & reinstalled, & still nothing.
I have a Sony Vaio with XP.
Nothing with my home setup has changed.
Any help would be appreciated.

WinMX Music wasn't. It started after WinMX quit, & I was on it not too long ago.
I'll check out the other site tho.

winmxmusic has nothing to do with winmx itself and winmx is alive and well,,, has been since it first got shut down a few years ago KM brought it back with a few others so yes its still plodding along
