Unable to preview jpegs within folder running 2k

I lost the ability of previewing jpegs and bitmaps within a folder in the left pane under the folder name. Had this problem before, but forgot the fix. This is in 2k.

Go to Start / Run, type the following command and click OK:

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\thumbvw.dll
You should see a message that DllRegisterServer succeeded. Click OK and reboot.

I hope that is what you need.

Thanks, but nope!

I might make a slight correction. I CAN view bitmaps, but NOT jpegs! I do not have active desktop enabled, but I did to see if that mattered, but it didn't.
