Unexpected Folder Behavior

  1. Hello!
I've been stuck with this problem for a while so I'll tell it straight (and yes, I've already searched around, no help at all):
I had a big folder that had many folders and files inside of it (C:\my music\... yeah) and I misclicked it and Windows started to move all its files to another folder (C:\guitar_recs\) and I clicked cancel. Now comes the problem, the folder is STILL inside guitar_recs but I can't go inside of it ("Access Denied") and I can't delete the folder either... ran scandisk and stuff and no errors were found... any clues of what I can do to recover the files or at least recover the lost HD space?
    thanks a lot!

Yes, but it didn't help... Now I can go inside the folder and see the files but I can't open or delete them, I still get the 'Acess Denied' error message even when I'm the owner

And did you try taking ownership of individual files ?
