Hi everyone,

I have just started getting the above which is causing me a lot of problems. I am running windows 8.1 and windows is having problems booting up. It can take me lots of restarts before windows will finally load.

I would appreciate any help with this as I don't know how to fix it. Windows keeps trying to repair itself but it just is not able to for some reason.

Many thanks,

Verity

Go to C:\windows\minidump and see if there are any .dmp files. If there are select all of them and right-click sending these files to a compressed(zipped)folder. Upload this folder as a file here. This could be a memory problem too

Hi,
I have uploaded the zipped files, hope they are ok.

Looks like the boot hard drive is failing or corrupt. Is this a laptop or a desktop computer?

You can test the boot drive by going to where you can see the C drive, right-click on it selecting properties, tools, check now. Put a check mark in both boxes to set a disk check on the next start up
