uninstall sp2

A quick question,
I am gonig to uninstall sp2, it says it might casue some proegrams to stop workig. If it causes any serious damage I can get system restore to repair it right?

well it turned into a masive failure.. My computer got sad and started complaining of "firewall problems". But soemthign positive did come out of it. Only two prgrams were able to detect the internet... Google Talk and Google Deskbar.. god I love google.

SP2 is not the problem...however if your system has problems they will sometimes be more persistent after the SP2 update.
You should consider a repair install of XP.
