Uninstalling internal gfx first?

My internal gfx card was an SiS card.

I installed an ATI 9260 gfx card but haven't noticed an increase in performance, quality of gfx etc...

should I uninstall all SiS drivers first?

Cuz right now the SIS card is attached to the mother board and the ATI card is in the AGP slot.

Can you help me decide what to do?

    Thanks guys :)

EDIT: If I could get a quick easy response soon I'd be grateful because I'm real anxious about this. Thanks again

Ininstall the SIS drivers then reboot and enter the bios and disable the onboard video. ( which would be the sis)

I kinda forget which video card the SIS specifically is.

I just know it's an SIS can you help me determine which exact SiS card it is?

    Thanks :)

    Were should I look?

you will only have one onboard video to disable in the bios. different bios's have the settings in diferent places most common it is under "onboard devices" or perephials
