hi this is my first post. I did a search but didnt really find a straight answer. I work at a tech dept for a law school and we have many copies of XP pro unopened and never used since we use a server copy to install on all our machines. My question is if this "to be distributed with dells only" XP Pro reinstallation CD will work on my dell laptop? A google search turned up many yes's and some no's. If anyone has had any first hand experiences with this i would be very appreciative.

It will work if it has a key.

provided the laptop is a company laptop, it is legal. If it is personal, then you are violating the licensing agreement.
