  1. I am currently rolling with a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX. I have currently ran into a wall with my card. The games I ran up too last major release season ran great with mid to high level settings. Recently, however with Starcraft II and with others have started to run sluggish.

What is the best bang for my buck?

Asus - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 1.5GB GDDR5 PCI Express
Asus - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 1.25GB GDDR5 PCI Express

the gtx 470 is the best bang for buck but you would be great with a gtx 460 1 gb

SC2 is much more CPU intensive, hardly needs more than an 8800.

If you have less than 3gb of available ram SC2 will use all of it(or try to).

I agree that the 460 would be the best bang for the buck.
