USB 2.0 Hub Controller....

  1. I have a Dell Inspiron 2650 (WinXP Home SP2) that doesn't have a 2.0 USB port. I am a bit confused. Is this something that can be fixed by downloading to upgrade the existing USB's or is it hardware that needs to be purchased and put in the computer? Thanks for any information and help! :)

That computer does not have USB 2.0. If you have PCMCIA slots, then you can buy a USB 2.0 adapter for that. It won't work at full USB speed, but would still be a lot better than USB 1.1.

Thanks for the input, Nodsu. Am going to check on an adapter right now!
