USB Front Panel Hub - Power but not Detecting

Title says it all.
my front panel used to work perfectly, then one day, kapow! nada...

the only thing i can think is an xp automatic update
or the bios but the bios doesnt have much in the way of options that could mess it up
and anyway it used to work
i have un and re installed usb drivers with no joy
anyone?

Try uninstalling the USB Hub in the device manager and reboot. See if the USB hub is redetected
